Priscillia Hazel "Gigi" McKnight was born June 17, 1940 in El Paso, Texas. She passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at her home in Arcola with family by her side. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 3:00pm at Carnes Funeral Home 3100 Gulf Freeway Texas City, Texas 77591.

Preceded in death by her parents George H. McKnight of San Antonio, Texas and Maria Molinar of Chihuahua, Mexico,a brother Bobby McKnight, first husband Conrad DeGrace, Sr. and a son Michael DeGrace. She married Conrad DeGrace, Sr. September 1, 1962 and subsequently divorced. She had one sister Emma Caylor. She had 4 children Catherine DeGrace Rivers and husband Jerome Rivers, Patricia DeGrace-D' Aliasi and husband Tony D' Aliasi, Conrad DeGrace and wife Trish DeGrace, Michael DeGrace (deceased), 3 grandchildren Christine Rivers Franklin, Ashley Elizabeth Rivers, Michale Jacob DeGrace, 2 great-grandchildren Olivia Kathryn Franklin and Charlotte Gene Frankin.

Priscilla graduated from El Paso High School in 1958. She was very involved with politics in the 70's. She helped run campaigns and held office in her local community of Clear Lake.  She was also involved with the Hospital Volunteer Program at Clear Lake Hospital when it opened in 1972. She was a tour guide at NASA from 1976 to the early 1980's.  This was her favorite job, and she had many wonderful stories to tell.

She married Eddie Mayea February 7, 1983, and moved into the Manvel area in 1983. She was a big supporter and did public relations for the Manvel/Iowa Colony Volunteer Fire Department.

Jewelry was her passion and she worked for several large Jewelry companies.  Gigi enjoyed gardening, books, reading, going out to eat and entertaining others.  She collected American Girls Dolls, and loving playing with them with her great-granddaughters.  She always had a story to tell to anyone who would listen.
