Ralph Garcia, Sr. age 55 of Galveston died Monday November 16, 2020 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston. Funeral services are 6:30pm Friday November 20, 2020 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Ralph was born December 21, 1964 in Galveston to John Garcia and Dolores Rodriguez Garcia. He was the Owner of R G's Painting Company a longtime Galveston Contractor. Ralph was an avid Texans fan and a great barbecue cook for his family and many friends. He cherished his grandchildren and the time spent with them was the joy of his life. His family was everything to him and his family is blessed with many wonderful memories of him. He was a Christian man and a member of New Life Church in Galveston where he served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents John and Dolores Garcia; sisters Frances Sendejas, Dolores Pena and Sarah Harr and a brother Joe Garcia. Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years Anna Garcia of Galveston; daughter Gabrielle Garcia and fiancé Chris Gilmore of Texas City; sons Ralph Garcia, Jr. of Galveston, Richard Reyes, Jr. and wife Toni Clear Lake and Raymond Reyes and wife Branda of Texas City; sister Diane Torres and husband Juan of Galveston; brothers David Garcia of Galveston, Jesse Garcia of Galveston, Raymond Garcia of Houston, John Garcia and wife Linda of Santa Fe, Texas and Robert Garcia of Texas City; grandchildren Leila Contreras, Darrian Jones, Olivia Gilmore, Ralph Garcia, III, Jonathan Contreras, Raymond Reyes, Ryker Reyes, Layla Gallegos, Dylan Lee, Arabella Reyes, Scarlett Reyes, Ariyah Reyes, Allana Varela, Alyssa Varela Alexis Gonzales, Joe Varela and Trey Gonzales; sisters in law, Sara Torres and husband Jose of Texas City, Rachel Rodriguez and husband Antonio of Texas City, Liz Hedge and husband John of Galveston and Patsy Orozco and husband Raymond; brother in law Tony Galicia and wife Anita of La Marque; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends and his beloved dog "Clutch".
