Obituary

Rego Berto Ornelas Jr. age 45 has gained his angel wings and ascended to heaven where he was welcomed into God's kingdom with love and open arms by his brothers Ranae and Roy, his grandpa Manuel, grandma Paulina, Abuelo Richard, Abuela Dominga, Tio Freddie, Benny, Richard, Tia Lupe and cousin Priscilla. Rego is survived by his children, son Aiden and his daughter Nevaeh, his parents, stepfather Jose Castillo, sisters, Reva (David), Raquel (Royce), Reyna, Reianna, 13 nephews and nieces his girlfriend Brandi and numerous friends and family.

Rego was born September 28, 1979, in Galveston to Rego and Rachel Ornelas. His roots were grounded in Texas City where he was raised and lived his entire life. Rego was the first born of seven children, as a child his big smile, big personality, big heart, and can't forget the ears, full of life, and looks made him the center of attention. He brought laughter and happiness to the room when he walked in. He was a protector of all six of his younger siblings and his beloved mother. Rego carried all those same traits into his adult life. He appreciated being beautiful and looking good. He dressed to impress. He loved to spend time with family and friends having a good time. He took his trials, tribulations, his blessings and lessons expressing them through lyrics. He was proud to share the word of God, praying for and with his family that he loves so much. His presence will be missed by those who love him.

My eternal brother in Jesus Christ who brought us joy and happiness filled with laughter has passed but will live for eternity until we meet again in heaven, Brother. (Rego wrote this to Ranae in his obituary)
