GALVESTON Richard Alan Goodgame age 57, of Galveston passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday January 18, 2020 at his residence in Galveston. Memorial services are 7:00pm with visitation starting at 6:00pm Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston.

Richard was born January 30, 1962 in Huntington Beach, CA to Robert Henry Goodgame and Barbara Ann Bavoux. They moved back to Galveston where he attended Guadalupe School and then onto Ball High School where he was on the basketball team and active in Drama. He then attended TSTI College in Waco, TX where he earned his degree in Biomedical Engineering. Richard was a BMET III for 31 years at UTMB in Galveston and then contracted with Aramark and then Sodexo. Richard was dedicated to his job and giving his all. He was a good man and loving husband.

He is preceded in death by his Mother and his Grandparent's Malloy and Philiss Bavoux and his Mother and Father in Law Irving and Maxine Feiler.

Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Claudia Goodgame, Father Robert Henry Goodgame, Sister Michelle Goodgame, Brothers, Larry and Scott Goodgame. His fur baby Destiny.

His wife would like to thank all who were there and supporting her, Paula Wilson, her Goodwill Family , his Sodexo Family and a host of friends and wonderful family.
