Robert Earl Hart, age 39* of Hitchcock, Texas, passed away on April 23, 2026, after a brief battle with illness and had a peaceful passing.

Born on August 5, 1946, in Galena Park to Earl Hart and Bess Hart, Robert grew up with a passion for knowledge and consumed many encyclopedias.  After graduating from University of Houston, Robert went on to a career as a pharmacist where he was known for his dedicated, enthusiastic work.   With his field of pharmacology, he eventually opened a Pharmacy with his wife Bonnie Hart in 1986 which is still open today in La Marque Texas.

Beyond their professional life, Robert was a devoted spouse and father.  He found great joy in reading, writing to the editor, classical music and pencil colorist. Those who knew Robert will remember his keen memory and be nearly unbeatable in trivial pursuit. If he was ever wrong, he would at least tell he was still "purty"

He is survived by son John Hart and wife Shannon Hart, son James Hart and wife Crystal Hart and Daughter Tara Hart.  Seven grandchildren Johsua, Scarlette, Christine, Jessica, Caitlin, Nathan and Daisy and four great grandchildren Owen, Ruby, Maci, and Cayden.

A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on April 27, 2026, at Gulf Coast Foursquare church in Hitchcock Texas. Viewing will start at 12:00 noon.  Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
