Robert Marshall Toussant Sr., 78 of Galveston, Texas passed away Sunday April 14, 2024 at the Cascades of Galveston Nursing Facility. Memorial services are 11:00am Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston.

He was born on March 5, 1946 in Beaumont, Texas to Marshall Toussant and Maggie Lee Thompson Toussant. Robert was also known as Zack. He graduated from Central High School and retired from Southern Compress Cotton Wearhouse. Dominos was his game.

Preceded in death by his dad Marshall Toussant, mom Maggie Toussant-Allensworth, sister Shirley Thompson-Cato and niece Natalie T. Smith and unborn child and sister in law Andrea Toussant and brother in law Coleman (Gabby) James Edwards. He is survived by his sons Robert Marshall Toussant Jr. (Kristen), Jalen D. Toussant, stepson Rodrick Brussard. Grandsons Prince and Amir Toussant, and one granddaughter Peyton Johnson. Brother Lawrence Toussant, sisters Dorothy Edwards and Patsy Dotson (Dwayne). Best friend Wilbert (Pig) Jones. Robert also has a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
