GALVESTON Rosalinda Benavides de Lopez age 78 of Melchor Ocampo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico died Sunday January 12, 2025. Funeral services are at 5pm on January 14th, 2025, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. The family will be receiving visitors from 5-8pm at the funeral home where a rosary will be held at 7pm.

Born July 22, 1946, in Ocampo to Nemecio Benavides and Paula Ramos, Rosalinda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a beloved Christian woman to all who knew her and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Galveston.

Survived by her husband Ubaldo Lopez, children Jesus Ubaldo Lopez (Palmira Rendon (t)); Jorge Alberto Lopez, Marcela Lopez (Luis Esquivel), Daniela (Oswaldo Ramos), Rosita Lopez as well as her grandchildren and great grand kids.

She will be laid to rest at Cristo Rey Cemetery in Melchor Ocampo, NL this week.

She will be dearly missed by all.
