Sandra Lee Pollman Kay
June 12, 1943 – September 3, 2025

Sandra Lee Pollman Kay, 82, of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 12, 1943, Sandra was the daughter of Richard and Eileen Smith Pollman. She graduated from Bowling Green State University where she was active in the Air Force Angel Flight. She dedicated many years of her life to teaching, in the classroom and then in dance studio. She then was active in Texmarc Conveyor Company which was started by her husband.

Sandra married the love of her life, Dr. Franklin Kay, and together they shared more than 40 wonderful years of marriage. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and joy for life. She loved to dance, found peace walking along the beach, and was deeply grounded in her Christian faith. She wrote a book, "Bedrock Scriptures", in which she described the importance of the scriptures to her during her long health battle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Pam Mottaz, and her brother Ronald Pollman. She is survived by her beloved husband, Franklin; her children, Lee Holsenbeck, Lisa and Adam Pollock, Julia and Mark Laskowski, and Frank and Susie Kay; and her cherished grandchildren, Jacob Thompson, Logan and Lindsay Kay, and Tyler and Avery Pollock.

A private graveside service for family will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
