Santos Ramirez, Jr. 81 of Galveston passed away Wednesday July 8, 2020 at his residence in Galveston. Santos was born October 14, 1938 in Galveston, Texas to Santos and Refugio Ramirez.

He was a US Army veteran and worked for over 40 years for Broadway Drug Store, Professional Pharmacy and Barcelino Pharmacy. Santos was a consummate family man. He was a loving and protective husband and father. He excelled at the caretaking of his family. He will be lovingly remembered for his gentle and larger than life presence that spoke kind and wise words of encouragement to everyone he came in to contact with, always willing to do anything for them, frankly speaking he was everybody's friend.

Santos is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Refugio Ramirez, a daughter Candace Ramirez a sister, Mary Lopez, 3 brothers Johnny Ramirez, Manuel Ramirez and Florintino Ramirez.

Santos is survived by 3 brothers, Robert Ramirez, Rudy Ramirez and Jesse Ramirez, and 1 sister, Dolores Hickey.
