Born on February 1, 1938, Severo attended Kirwin High School, where he was an avid football player. His passion for the game was evident both on and of the field. He played with heart, determination, and a fierce loyalty to his team with whom he made lifelong friendships and cherished memories. He was also a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus.
