Shawn Robert Fearrington age 37 of Galveston died Tuesday January 10, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services are 10:00am Wednesday January 18, 2023 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Shawn was born May 1, 1985 in Galveston to Robert Allen Fearrington and Pamela Ann Wilson Fearrington. He was a 2003 graduate of Ball High School. He attended Blinn College and received his Journeyman Electricians License. He was a member of the IBEW Union and worked on many projects to include Moody Gardens, Farmers Copper and the Port of Galveston. He was an avid swimmer and was a part of the Jr. Life Guards in Galveston. Shawn earned his Black Belt under Fernandez Robles and enjoyed fishing, working out, and riding motorcycles with his family and many friends.

Preceded in death by his grandparents John and Connie Fearrington and Warren and Betty Wilson; survivors include his parents Robert and Pamela Fearrington of Galveston; sister Morgan Nicole Fearrington of Baytown; brother John Ross "JR" Fearrington and wife Brittany of Dickinson; nephew Nolan Fearrington; aunts and uncles Eudelia and Bart Becker, Valerie and David Millican, Phyllis and Philip Hosey, and Bruce Wilson; cousins Andrew Reid Becker and wife Searcy Sledge, John Monroe Becker, Billy and Sabrina Sanders and Kyle and Kylee Sanders; close friend Josh Rochkind;  numerous other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers are Josh Rochkind, J.R. Fearrington, Malcom Mencacci, Jeremy Rozier, Franklin Carnes, IV, Josh Aceves, Salvatore Arcidiacono and Andrew Becker.
