GALVESTON   Sherry Felicia Winn age 61 of Galveston passed away Thursday May 5, 2022 at Gulf Health Care in Galveston. Funeral services are 11:00am Saturday May 21, 2022 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, Rev. Larry Turner officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

Sherry was born December 2, 1960 in Galveston to Preston and Louise Thomas Winn. She was a member of the 1978 class of Ball High School. Sherry was a woman of the Baptist Faith. She was a good person with a great heart always willing to do anything for those in need. She enjoyed dancing and singing was considered a good pool player. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Sydney Winn, Paul Winn, Arthur Winn and Robert Lee Winn; and her daughter Ebony Nicole Atkinson; survivors include sisters Cathy Winn, Stella Winn, Evelyn Winn, Cynthia Winn, Janet Winn, Antoinette Winn, Betty Cesar and Irma Cesar; brothers Preston Winn and Weston Winn; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Pallbearers are Elijah Winn, Quincy Winn, Benson Winn, Clarence Winn, Prentice Winn, Tehran Allen, Isaiah Edwards and Tyresse Washington.
