Sheryl Lynn Reegan, 77, of Galveston, Texas passed away April 8th, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.

Sherry was born April 18th, 1948; she was a military brat, her father was in the Marine Corps, so they traveled all over. She was raised in Galveston, Texas by her grandmother, Claudia Baker, she worked at juvenile probation office for 32 years until she retired to take care of her grandchildren, Nicolas Sendejas and Madison Reegan, and lived with her mother, they had a very tight relationship, she was a mother to everyone, our Nana Sherry, she loved hard and she would give you anything in the world.

Sheryl is survived by her daughter, Dana Reegan, sister Cindy Palomo and husband Ernie Palomo, grandson Nicolas Sendejas, granddaughter Madison Reegan, great granddaughter Hazel Sendejas, and niece Rachel Brown.

A Visitation will be held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston, Texas on Sunday, April 12th, from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., where a Rosary will be recited at 5:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be held the following day, Monday, April 13th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow immediately after at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock under the   direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home.
