Stella Tara, 91, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Galveston, Texas.

Born on October 8, 1933, in Poland, Stella lived a life of faith, hard work, and devotion to her family. Her faith in Jesus was the foundation upon which she built her life, guiding her with grace and strength. She was deeply loved by those who knew her and will be profoundly missed.

Stella was the beloved mother of Beata Tara, Alexandra Tara, and Robert Tara. She found joy in being a grandmother to Serena Davidson, Rebecca Chapman, and Alicia and Kelsey Tara; and a great-grandmother to Asia Suayan. Her love for her family was boundless expressed not only in words but in the countless ways she cared for and nurtured them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Tara; her parents, Maria and Jakub Kwasnicki; and her brothers, Chester, Roman, and Zbigniew Kwasnicki. Though she has departed this world, the imprint of her kindness and devotion remains in the hearts of all who knew her.

Stella's unwavering faith guided her through life's challenges and joys. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
