Steven Mark Sharp age 64 of Dallas passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas after a brief illness. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Friday, March 27, 2020 at Oaklawn Memorial Park 1554 Hwy 7 East Center, Texas 75935, under direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home , with Steve's nephew, Jason Treadaway officiating.

Steven was born Sunday, October 2, 1955 in Galveston, Texas to Janie Sue Chandler Sharp and Herbert Marion Sharp. Steven graduated from Ball High School in Galveston, attended Texas A&M University, and followed in his father's footsteps with a career in construction.

Steven was an active member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Dallas where he served as a greeter. He volunteered and loved to cook for different groups, serving meals for the homeless and underprivileged. He was blessed with a group of close friends who loved and supported him. He loved serving God through ministry and generously opened his home to share with others.

He is survived by his mother, Janie Cuculic of Tyler, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Doug Warren of Tyler, step-sisters Patsy Biddle Lemke (Glenn), Port Isabel, and Linda Gay Biddle Rink (Don), Beaumont, daughter, Dr. Lydia Sharp of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Herbert Sharp, sisters Betsy Sharp Anderson and Nancy Sharp Treadaway.
