Obituary

Trinidad Lloreda, 83, of Galveston, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Trinidad was born on October 5, 1942, in Galveston, Texas, to Trinidad Villarreal and Antonia Gonzales. She graduated from Ball High School and later earned a nursing degree from Galveston College. Following her studies, she dedicated her career to caring for others as a nurse in the Heart Station Department at UTMB in Galveston.

Trinidad had a deep love for her family and cherished spending time with them. She enjoyed family outings, traveling, shopping, and taking memorable gambling trips with her beloved husband. She was also a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Antonia Villarreal; her husband, Johnny V. Lloreda; her granddaughter, Jessica Leslie Lloreda; and her sisters, Herminia Villarreal and Valentina Villarreal.

Trinidad is survived by her five children: Johnny Lloreda Jr. (wife Pam), Josephine Bergevin (husband Brent), Joe Lloreda (wife Annie), James Lloreda (wife Christine), and Donna Lloreda. She also leaves behind her siblings Mary Villarreal, Jesusa De Los Santos, Guadalupe De Los Santos, John Villarreal, Martin Villarreal, and Ennis Villarreal.

She will be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren: Haley Lloreda, Eric Lloreda, Elizabeth Lazarz (husband Jakob), Jeremy Bergevin, Nicholas Bergevin (wife Caitlan), Joshua Bergevin, Matthew Lloreda, Joe Lloreda II, and Erica Lloreda; and four great grandchildren: Lasairfhiona, Meabh, Hayden, and Caroline.

Trinidad will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Martin Villarreal, James Lloreda, James Lloreda III, Joshua Bergevin, Nicholas Bergevin, and Victor Gracia.

Honorary pallbearers include Brent Bergevin and Trinidad Villarreal.

Matthew 5:4  "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
