Wayne Paul Langston Jr, Loving father, husband, and friend passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021 surrounded by his children. He was born August 12, 1948 in San Antonio, TX.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Patrician Ann Langston and Parents Wayne Paul and Thelma Rose Langston. He is survived by his loving Children: Sons, Wayne Paul III (Trey) and wife Hannah Langston of Magnolia; Jamie and wife Jessica Langston of Kemah; and Daughter, Kimber and husband Robert Sawyer of Kemah; And 7 Grandchildren, Wayne Paul Langston IV, William Patrick Langston, Willow Primrose Langston, Walker Phoenix Langston, Remi Leilani Langston, Sterling Grant Sawyer & Ollie Rose Sawyer.

For those who knew Wayne knew he was larger than life. Wayne loved to be surrounded by friends and family, welcoming all with open arms. He enjoyed hosting parties, whether they be by an open fire next to his beautiful wife, kids and horses or on the stern of his boat at the Galveston Yacht Basin holding court as "El Guapo!" With a "the more the merrier" attitude, Wayne often found himself as the life of the party, having fun, listening to Jimmy Buffett and entertaining us all with his infectious laugh and fun-loving attitude.

With a work hard,  play hard personality, Wayne was able to find a balance between his professional career as an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur alongside his passions for boating, scuba diving, flying airplanes, fishing, photography and more.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 27 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 23 ^rd Street, Galveston, TX 77550. He will be laid to rest next to his wife Patricia Ann at Forest Park East in League City.

Wayne will be missed dearly by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in Wayne's honor to the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation in an effort to protect the places that Wayne loved so dearly for future generations.
