GALVESTON: Candace Alicia Ramirez age 32 of Galveston died Friday, April 15, 2016 at her residence in Galveston. Memorial services are 6:30 pm Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Visitation beginning at 5:00pm.

Candace was born June 19, 1983 in Galveston to Santos Ramirez and Kimberly Waggoner Ramirez. She was a member of the Ball High School Class of 2001 and was waitress at Sonny's for over 10 years. She loved singing Karaoke and spending time with her family and many friends. She was a car enthusiast especially for Mustangs and Firebirds. She was of the Catholic faith.

Preceded in death by her mother and uncles, Manuel, Tino and Johnny Ramirez; survivors include her father, Santos Ramirez; uncles, Robert Ramirez and wife Rosie, Jesse Ramirez and Rudy Ramirez; aunts Dolores Hickey and Mary Lopez; cousins, numerous aunts and uncles in Illinois and a special close friend Clinton Baxendale .
